USB Memory stick recording on TV

I have a small cheap TV that records on a memory stick.
My other TV does not have a USB port but does have several HDMI ports.
Can I purchase an adapter to plug into the HDMI port so that I can play my memory stick TV programmes on my other TV?

Highly unlikely - how would the TV read the memory stick and drive it?

If your TV Memory stick plays on your PC, perhaps you could then play on TV via the PC? Just a thought!

HDMI media players cost from about £18 upwards. http://tinyurl.com/bqqomf7

It seems that, today, people want to do the weirdest things with their HDMI ports... :-) (cf intheshedagain hoping to use his as an Ethernet port). Skinnydog: HDMI is an audiovisual technology, while USB is a data technology - but as X7-250 points out, an HDMI player may be what you need, and they're not expensive. My daughter has a Sumvision one, and has been very happy with it.
