Windows Live Mail inbox - message refuses to open or delete

I have a message from a reliable commercial source in my Windows Live Inbox that refuses to open, delete or move. Any attempt is met with an error message. Any ideas polease.

What the error message says would be helpful.

Also, can you log into your server and delete the message there?

I.E. if your e-mail address ends @btinternet.com - you can log into bt yahoo - mail - inbox - and delete the message.

Hi, Thanks Jollyjohn. I have managed to clear it by deleting in my talktalk inbox. When I did that it moved from Inbox to deleted box in Windows Live Mail and I was able to delete it from there. For your information the dialouge box said "Unable to delete as there is an error".
