Pop Ups

Heres another silly one - that I really ought to be able to sort.
I'm getting used to seeing little 'reminders' of what I've been searching/viewing. I think its part of either Windows or IE9 - I assume we can't stop those ?
On top of that, I've just started getting the f#&%@ing annoying "you may already have a prize" garbage (like: visitorgift.com).
I decline to click anything on it; not Yes, No, Off - as they all point to the next page etc, & it takes time to get rid of them.
Please say that we can stop these.
I already have Blocked Pop-Ups.
cheers

I find that you only get these you may have won a gift from certain sites. I try to avoid those sites.

Hi again WW:
If only it was that simple.
They tend to come in on the back of legitimate - or innocent - ones.
As I say, I have Pop-up blocker running. I used to have it on Medium, but changed it today to High. I must say that its been quite a while since I’ve seen these, so I guess been luckier than some.
I run filters in my Thunderbird E-Mail, which seems pretty good.
Isn’t there something similar for these pee takers ?

Suggest that you check for malware on your system.
