Microsoft Net Framework what version

I have several instances of Microsoft Net Framework on my XP Professional PC.

Do I need them all?

I have..... Microsoft NET Framework 2 service pack 2 Microsoft NET Framework 3 service pack 2 Microsoft NET Framework Extended Microsoft NET Framework 3.5 SP1

They are heavy...

Unfortunately different progs use ifferent versions of Net framework you don't know until a prog refuses to run

So I'm afraid you will have to keep them all.

OK I thought as much, I am doing my periodic clear out and wondered if I could thin the versions down.
