Hi all,my WMP plays CDs with sound,and also plays DVDs but with NO sound i have WMP 11,it also wont let me copy DVDs,,.;-((

Cheers mate i have.nt a clue so you may think this is a daft Q but would the CDs work if i didnt have that right codecs

It appears the problem is with your DVD's - see here enter link description here

An alternative to WMP is VLC Player which will play anything.
