How do I get rid of Search Plusnetwork

This nasty device has hi-jacked my search engine in Firefox. I have tried to get rid of it using all Firefox has to offer (eg Adblock Plus / removing it from list of search engines) and also downloaded some software from Anvisoft. It keeps coming back. What can I do?

Thanks for the link. I've downloaded the Malwarebytes software recommended but the free version hasn't removed the virus. I'll try the Pro version and see what happens.
