epson printers display stopped status

I use a mac Os10.5.8 and have two epson printers. Neither will print and show printer is ready but the show 'stopped' status. cannot print test page and in system preferences printers are shown connected and shared. Help would be appreciated, thanks

Suspect this is a driver problem, are you using up to date drivers from Epson for your Leopard? USB or Network type of connection?
Suggest you to delete & reinstall the drivers again for your printers, unfortunately Mac doesn't operate the same way as Windows.
You have a shadow thread click here, put a green tick to it so as to stop confusion if you can.

The connection to the printer is fine as I can scan from photoshop and it will read a SD card. Any help? thanks
