Prompted over 'missing msvcr71.dll' file

I have just bought a new camera, and the software is telling me that the dll file msvcr71.dll is missing from my computer. I have followed Fruitbat's advice over this issue elsewhere in this forum, but sadly the software is not recognising that I have put a copy of the file into both my system32 and my syswow64 folders. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be really grateful.

The missing .dll needs to be copied into the software program that you are using for your camera.

Many thanks, northumbria61, this seems to have done the trick as you suggest. I've managed to download my pictures without incident. Hoping this is sorted once and for all.
