My Apple Mac Performa died last week which printed to the Apple Laserwriter 4/600 PS via the ADB port. I have a Mac G4 (earler model) running Mac OS 9.1. The G4 has USB ports but it occurs to me it may be possible to insert a card to power the aforesaid printer. Does anyone know if this is possible and, if it is, can you supply details? The printer works perfectly.
Also, is it possible to run the laserwriter via a usb port running OS 10.3.x?
