Linksys USB Adapter and Windows 7

Running Windows 7, have Cisco Router. Desktop has no wireless card so using USB adapter. Laptops run wireless ok, but trying to get USB no luck. Tried D-Link and now Linksys. Error message Windows couldn't automatically bind the IP protocol stack in the network adapter.
Drivers are up to date. Connection manager can find the network when prompted i put in password, but still no luck.
Any ideas out there

I had a similar problem, try going on: Run CMD Then type: netsh interface ipv4 reset netsh interface ipv6 reset Then Restart your computer It worked but me, so worth a try!
