how can i increase the gain on microphone

on the prestigio 5197 ultra tablet as the person i'm speaking to can't hear me.

I dont know the machine but have you turned it on? There may be adjustment in the sound controls. What program are you using? I cant see microphone in the tablets spec.

If you use Skype, micro volume can be adjusted in Tools, Options, Audio Settings.

Iv'e only just had the tablet, am trying to find my way around it LOL. thanks for the info.
