kb2762895 causes black screen

after kb2762895 is installed and the computer rebooted it causes it to hang before the welcome screen (black screen with moveable mouse pointer) ... this happens also in safe mode,the only way to get the computer booted is to use the windows disk go to repair (it finds no start up problems) use system restore to before the update was installed and all is fine until you restart and it insists on installing the update again and it becomes a visious circle. it doesnt seem a good idea to turn updates off any ideas ?? thanks alan

When this happens to me more than once, I do disable that particular update that causes the problem

thanks on the limit1 .. how can i prevent this update been installed ?
