Google Chrome language change on updating

I just had an update to Google Chrome which mysteriously changed my language to Danish (I think). I've sorted it now by re-installing,but I wondered if anyone else has had the same experience

Not with Google Chrome, but with other updates in the past. As you say, a re-install usually resolves the problem.

If you do a Google search, there are many solutions to this problem, including YouTube. Google seems to suggest: Click Status Area- Select Settings- Click Show Advanced Settings- In Language Section Click Customize Language and Input.

Yes, I read that advice but it didn't seem to work, possibly because all the settings were in Danish and I wasn't sure what I was doing!
