HP mini 100e Problems at Startup

I use a Hp mini 100e laptop and the problem i am facing is i've not been able to access it in days, whenever i pressed the power button, it wont boot up, only performs SMART self test continuously until the power is dead or when i power off again. please what do i do? Thanks.

Remove and refit the hard drive and retry , leave on mains power until smart test completed.
or
enter BIOS and disable SMART and retry

@ fruit bat, how do i enter BIOS cause i don't have control once the booting starts

pressing del as soon as it starts should put you in the BIOS (setup)
There should be a message on the screen as it starts that says something like "Press Del to enter setup..."
