Multiple Sata Drives not working on pc...

hey guys,
i have 3 sata drives and 1 ide drive running on the pc, but... only sata_4 shows and the ide not the other sata drives..
one of them did show befor but for some reason it stopped, just added new sata drive with cables included and still not showing, i can feel them spinning, but they will not recognise on the pc... heeelp.. :(

do they show in BIOS?
what op system?
Can you see the drives in disk management?
have you initialised and formated the new drive?

1, in bios it says not available, for the 2 of the drives but pics up one sata and one ide
2, now running windows 8
3, Disk management doesnt show them

If BIOS is not seeing the drives check the data and power cables to the drives.
even try swapping them around with the other drive.
make sure the sata ports/ controller are enabled in BIOS
