Outlook not delivering some emails

I have been using outlook as my email provider for some months now and generally like it. With one exception all the friends I email get my messages, but one, in Lancashire frequently doesn't. If I split the email into two smaller parts and resend they get it, but I don't understand the problem. Can anyone help, please?

The clue is "but one". This indicates that the problem may well be at their end of with their ISP. It would seem that they cannot receive long or large emails perhaps because there is a time-out when receiving. I don't think that you can do much except to ask them to check their settings.
