Hi all, I have 3 columns of letters ranging from A to L in a spread sheet. Is there a way to tell me how many of each letters there are.

Use this formula in your chosen cell say C1:
=COUNTIF(A1:A26,"A")
then for C2
=COUNTIF(A1:A26,"B")
and so on.

Using a filter and selecting a letter will also tell you how many of each.
But do you want a list of the number of letters?
