Trying to update avg for free. It's saying the license has expired and when I click on update it only has the ones you have to pay for.

You can try going to Control Panel - Programs & Features - highlight AVG - you should have 2 options Uninstall or Change - choose change and you should get the option to Repair.

Forgot to say thank you. I was asking on behalf of someone else. I use Avira, I find this easy and my friend said he thinks MSE is the best for less hassle
