Since upgrading to 16.0.2 my Firefox is not how it used to be.
I now have File, Edit at the top with Back/Forward and Address bar.
Under that, Tabs.
Then Reload, Google, Home.
Then Bookmarks Toolbar.
How it was:
File, Edit.
Address bar, Google, Home.
Bookmarks.
I could drag things about, but not any more.

Try: rightclick on a blank bit | Customise | and you can drag icons to where you want them on the top toolbar

I should have said you have to drag an icon off the toolbar and put it back in the customise box, then grab it again and drag it back up to its new position on the top toolbar. I agree it's a bit more faffy than it used to be.

I must be tired, I meant you have to have the Customise box open and then you can grab and drag (no need to put icon back in the box)

Have you tried. Rightclick on a blank bit/Customise/Restore default set.
