If you set CCleaner to automatically check for updates it will do so each time you launch it. Updates become available quite frequently, as the company adds new file profiles.

Options - settings - tick Automatically check for updates

Just had the email today (5:51 PM ) that it was updated. That's a waste of time then if it was updated on 25th October. No auto update for me showed ,even though selected within the program, so I wonder why?

It will only offer the updates when you launch the programme, it doesn't have an updater that sits in the startup folder like some other applications.

Thanks for that FE, I realize that, been using it for quite some time. Still got no offer of an update. Will uninstall/re-install I think.

If you go to options/settings there is a box to tick to automatically check for updates when you launch CC RG
