Making and editing a DVD

I have Freemake Video Converter. I have a DVD recorder attached to my TV. When I have recorded a program from TV, I sometimes need to edit it, to remove adverts or end bits. I use a DVD-RW for this purpose, then hope to use a DVD-R for the final edited version. Using Freemake, I am able to edit the DVD successfully, on screen, taking out the bits I don't want. What I need to know is how to put the newly edited program onto a new blank DVD-R?

You can copy and paste the files from your dvd-rw to a folder on your hard drive then use Freemake to create your finished dvd.
