I upgraded windows 7 to windows 8. I want to install windows 7 as a dual boot with windows 8. 7 will not install, as I have five partitions and they are all dynamic. How do I change dynamic to logical or primary

There are partitioning software progs which will do this, but I can't remember which one I used.
Try Google.

There are quite a few Partition Managers on the market, but I find this one does most of mine management quickly and effectively.

The system allows you to created a bootable DVD version which makes it work even faster.

If it's a Desktop, Why not fit a separate drive to load it to

PS that way if one Drive goes down you will still be able to use the other. This will give you another drive that you could use to store Images if you use such as Acronis
