Connect PC to WIFI

Hello,

I’m trying to connect my pc in an outside office to the house wifi. Sometimes it brings up the house wifi and other times it doesn’t – guess I need some sort of booster?? Also when it does bring it up and I try to connect it says my pc IP address needs updating. I have no idea how to solve this and don’t want to spend money on a booster if that’s not the answer. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thank you, I've ordered the one suggested so hopefully by this time next week I'll be up and running! When I get stuck thou (which I'm sure I will) I'll be back on here as everyone has been so helpful and I really appreciate the help.

I use the TPlink ones to connect the Humax to the router in opposite corners of the house. Works well for streaming video so shoudn,t be a problem at all for general office work.
