Should I click "windows live mail" in that list in the default programmes that comes up? the lisst that comes up in that "default programmes" is quite long, it has:- IMG burn, IE, media player, open office, quicktime, VLC player, windows calender, & contacts, live mail, live photogallery, windows live mail, windows live mail (news), winows media player, windows photo gallery, windows search explorer - I would imagine it would be windows live mail but I am not sure so dont want to pick the wrong one and make a B**ls of it, funny thing also, the IE has opened the yahoo default home page quickly this morning after turning laptop on, so havent had to use google chrome broswer yet, very strange how it was TOTALLY jammed at the end of last week, I am in Holland and use a very fast broadband connection here with a wifi router, its far faster than my UK broadband. thnaks LAPTOPDUNCE

Default email program - choose the program that you want to open when you click on 'Read Mail' and when you click on the mailto: link on a webpage.

It is easy to go back and select another mail program to change the default to use should you decide to use a different mail client program. Just follow the instructions.
