How are you finding 8 without the start button, to me i got over it quite quickly, im wondering if Windows will see what the feedback is and then it will make its humble return in the first service pack!

Badly need the start stop button.Just so many things in the wrong places which makes it more difficult to navigate properly.

Although I am getting to know where things are it makes it slower to navigate to where you want to go.

The old all programs had to be a lot better and quicker than what we have now.

One bonus is a full scan with my Internet Security program took 10 minutes and 50 seconds.it took almost 1 hour 15 minutes on W/7

This is typical of Microsoft, changing things and assuming everybody will like it. Don't get me wrong I am all for progress but do "they" never listen to their customers? They did the same with Microsoft Office when they changed it in 2007 and put everything in the wrong place. Nice when you have finally mastered the new systems but can be very frustrating initially!
