Changing MP3 Data

I used to be able to right click on an MP3 file and obtain a menu to gain access to the music data within an MP3 (or other) music file. This would allow me to enter track, artist, number etc information that's needed and used in MP3 players. For some reason when I right click on a music track now the menu item, which was always at the top of the list in bold, no longer appears. Can anyone help.

I think that you need to tell us more about where you have the file and your OS.
I use Windows Media Player to edit details.

Find file in W explorer. Right click, select properties, select details and change what you want.

Thanks John. Got there in the end and made the changes I wanted, but something has changed in how music files are changed in Windows 7. There used to be a menu item at the top of the right click menu when clicked onto music files/folders. Thanks for your response anyway
