itunes & Windows 8

Currently running Windows 7 Home Premium, considering upgrading to Windows 8 Pro. Run Microsoft's Window's Upgrade Assistant. Report states for iTunes "Remove authorised PCs" My wife has a vast itunes library on our main desktop PC which she obviously doesn't want to loose or have the hastle of moving to small laptop.

I assume from the report that iTunes is not currently compatable with Windows 8. If correct, does anyone know/have any idea when it is likely to be. Will Apple with releasing a new version of iTunes soon?

Is it that you already have the maximum number (4) devices activated?

Mike, it could be the case. Many not have deactivated correctly some very early iTunes accounts/authorised laptops(Not mega technical) but is it the case then that its a question of how many activated devices rather than a question of compatabily?
