Laptop hanging on a screen....

hi

my lap top is hanging on this screen when it boots....

HANGING SCREEN

any help would be great

ok fruitbat, now we got that sorted, befor it actually died it said this on the post screen and was hanging there....

before fitting a new drive I would be tempted to test the drive by installing in a caddy connected by usb to another PC and change the CMOS battery in the laptop.

If the drive works in a caddy at least you can back up your data
