How do I get rid of unwanted screen message

I recently bought a Samsung S22B150 21.5 inch widescreen LED monitor for my father-in-law. After he switches it on using the touch button, a message appears saying "screen mode" and following that a 'label' comes up in the top left hand corner of the screen saying LED 3 Omega Dynamic Contrast 40% powersaver Eco saving
This covers screen ans shortcut icons and remains as a permanent message. How do I remove it?

Sounds as if the monitor is waiting to be finished setting up and is saying what/how far it's contrast is set at present. Have a look in the manual for the buttons on monitor that you need to press to continue setting up the 'Screen Mode' it may be a simple matter of saying OK (via the monitor)
