I have just replaced the standard fan on my cpu for a bigger one and now on start up I get a cpu fan error press f1 to resume , why when it is running ok. The only thing I have noticed is that the power plug on the new one is a 3 pin as the old one was a 4 pin . Are there different power pins on the mainboard to plug into.
