Hi, my girlfriend is often sent 'zipped' files and she has tried to use Winzip but only gets the trial version. Is there a free way to download this please?

Well if she is only unzipping them Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8 can do that. I have'nt use winzip for years but as others say 7Zip is the one.

PowerDesk allows you to see what's in a Zip File before you open it, and you can just extract the readme file etc from it if needed. all by just right clicking on a Zip file then choose from drop down box where to extract to
