CMOS Battery failing clock slowing down

I notice that the clock on my 5 year old pc is slowing down and does not retain the time/date. Looks like I need to replace battery. It is a 3.184v so can anyone confirm that this will be OK for the motherboard. Duracell CR2032 3v lithium coin cell It is ASUSTek P5N-E SLI motherboard.

Yes, CR2032, I don't know of any motherboards that take a different one.

Have you tried changing the time in the Bios or does that also loose time.

Have tried BIOS , no effect. Thanks lotvic..will pop a new battery in.

Make sure you put it in the right way up or down as the case may be ;) lol
