I have just got a message telling me this; I don't want to pay! What is a good free replacement?

Last time I downloaded it, it was from here, C-Net and it's sill working on my netbook.

Just had the pop-up that it has been 'retired'. I assume it will no longer be updated. I don't think it had updated for a while but still works. This list is a year old so I might go for Zone Alarm for my XP machine if I think PCTools firewall isn't running correctly.

Thanks for your comments. I think I will follow rdave13,s example and stick with PC Tools until it starts to look wonky.
