How do I open windows notebook?

I want to copy some text into the old notebook program. I use windows Vista. I am creating a new page on my website and need to remove all the code, but where has notebook gone? Help much appreciated.

Do you mean Notepad?
Two ways to find Notepad:
Start - All Programs - Accessories and Notepad should be there.
Type notepad in the search box in the Start menu.

Many thanks, Woolwell. Yes, notepad! I found it by using the search box. There doesn't seem to be an accessories in the program list, which is odd.
