I have reinstalled vista and now my computor won,t start i get the message a file is missing and to restart when i do this i come back to the same screen and can,t get any further i have tried tha F8 method but to no avail. suggestions please

The missing file is \windows\system32\wincode.exe and i do have the correct disc in the drive

Make sure your windows disk is in the cd drive and boot while pressing f8 . Choose the repair option and see how that goes.
