I have reinstalled Vista and when i try to start up i get a message that a file is missing and to insert the vista disc and restart but when i do i just get the same message again and i cant boot up how do i get my machine to start i have already tried the F8 way but nothing happens

I have tried all these things but remember that my computor won.t start
