Hi all,

This is probably a long shot but does anyone know where the CMOS battery is on a Toshiba Satellite M35X-S114 laptop.

Have searched google, most answers are "It's under the keyboard on the mobo" really helpful....Not.

Have stripped the thing down but can't see the usual round shiny thingy.

Does it even have one?

I know it's old, but i'm bored.

The only thing I could find indicates it to be beneath the motherboard; see here.

Thanks for reply John, I saw that one but when I removed the keyboard all you could see was the cover over what I think is the screen control or graphic card. Hence stripping it all out.

Thanks anyway.

Ok found it, apologies to johndrew it is under the motherboard.

After removing the hard drive cage and lifting up the MB, it's smaller than the usual 2032 size battery and IS soldered to the MB.

Cheers
