I thought I would try CyberGhost Premium VPN that was free on the penultimate PCA cover disk, out of curiosity. It was OK, but I soon uninstalled it.
Since then, I had been unable to print wirelessly although USB and ethernet cable printing both worked. I finally resolved it today when I discovered that my printer's IP address was way outside my router's normal range. It was 169.xxx.x.xxx rather than 192.xxx.x.xxx. I have now reset that address and everything is back to normal, but I am wondering if the VPN changed the IP address as part of its function? Just curious.
