MS office pro 97 query

I have MS Office 97 Pro. How do I get rid of the office toolbar which I find a nuisance? This is the one that has all of the office things in, Excel, Powerpoint etc. jonem81

If this is the one on the desktop then Right click the toolbar on the very left hand end and select exit, it will ask if you want it to start next time, say no or right mouse click on the toolbar to hide it.
