a video CD that has been recorded on Pinnacle

i have a Video CD That has been recorded on a machine with Pinnacle system although it will play on my Panasonic recorder it will not play on my computer windows 7, I have tried using VLC Media player but it still wont play it, do i need some more Codecs, Nutty Norm

Dunno if you need more codecs, but it does not cost anything to Google latest Win7 Codecs so I would say give it a try.

thanks for the prompt reply, It Sometimes works and sometimes it doesnt, Nutty Norm,(on Pinnacle vdcd)

In that case, it could mean that the CD itself needs cleaning. I have used Disc Clinic to clean DVD/CDs with great success.
