I turned on my desktop yesterday and for some reason ie just freezes. Does anyone have any idea's why this would suddenly happen ?

Or maybe try Internet options. Advanced.press Reset. That resets I/E to it's original state. You may have to check your add ons afterwards also recheck Spywareblaster if you use it.

I just went to uninstall ie and cannot see it in the list and if i try and download it from microsoft site it says a more up to date version is installed?

This is impossible as it has ie9 installed and that is the latest version isnt it?

Maybe try disabling all of your add ons and see if it works.

Or click on compatibility mode under tools.

There is a very small update for I/E on windows update but I think that is for the 64 bit version.maybe have a look.
