Problems with Internet Explorer

I turned on my desktop yesterday and for some reason ie just freezes. Does anyone have any idea's why this would suddenly happen ?

Google chrome works fine but i really need ie as my password saver only works in ie.

sounds like a corrupt file see here for how to do a repair of IE

Or maybe try Internet options. Advanced.press Reset.That resets I/E to it's original state.You may have to check your add ons afterwards also recheck Spywareblaster if you use it.

I just went to uninstall ie and cannot see it in the list and if i try and download it from microsoft site it says a more up to date version is installed?

This is impossible as it has ie9 installed and that is the latest version isnt it?

Try Internet options.advanced.and press restore advanced settings see if that helps.

Maybe try disabling all of your add ons and see if it works.

Or click on compatibility mode under tools.

There is a very small update for I/E on windows update but I think that is for the 64 bit version.maybe have a look.
