My MX8 Logitech wireless mouse will only work if on a sheet of aluminum foil or similar shiny surface. Batteries are new and I've reset to default but it's still very sluggish.
Has the laser packed up or has anyone got a quick fix?
The receiver pod is about 2ft away from it.
Alternatively, what is best wireless mouse to buy?

I have heard some good reports about logitech customer support.
Maybe worth contacting them to see if they will send you a free replacement.
How old is it if not that old maybe worth a try contacting them.
Just explain to them the trouble that you have and see what sort of response that you get.
Mind you best waiting in case someone gives you a fix for it.

I cleaned the laser hole out with cotton wool bud, that's made it better, must have been some cheese in the mouse?
