Java or is there something else that can be used.

The latest warning about using Java makes you wonder if the is anything else that can be used instead.
It seams that all versions have problems even the latest security patches.
I just updated my computer with the latest update only to find that it does not help.
Any answers out there as to what we can use insead.

I can only assume that there is nothing that we can use to replace java so looks like we have to live with it.
