Resolving Proxy in Google Chrome?

Over the last few months I have been experiencing a problem with Google Chrome and especially the PCA website.

On using this website, I often get a 'Resolving Proxy' then 'Waiting for PC Advisor', which both results in long downloading times and problems.

Is there a way around this, and as anyone else had this regular problem, or is it just me again?.

Although I don't use Chrome have a look here, click here. Are you using a proxy server?

Thanks for the response and link. I will try out the solution offered on the Google Chrome page and see if that resolves the issue. Hopefully it will!.

I have just changed the settings as suggested in the link, and things seemed to have improved a little. Just a case of wait and see, if the same problem returns?.
