Temporary desktop keeps appearing when powering on

At random intervals the PC boots into a temporary desktop. The only way I seem to get rid of it is by booting into safe mode and performing a system recovery, which is irritating and time consuming. This started without warning a couple of months ago.

It appears that you have a corrupt User Account Profile and that you need to create a new one - see here enter link description here If you scroll down there are instructions on how to do this.
