Epson CX3200 scanner lamp replacement

Hello My Epson CX3200 scanner light has failed The unit is 8 years old Is it feasible for me to replace the light or should the unit be retired Thank you gel

I don't think it is possible to replace a scanner lamp via DIY. At 8yrs old it is now past its sell by date and would be best to replace it. There's plenty of choice these days at reasonable prices. Time to treat yourself.

So does that make my 9 year old CX3200 (July 2003) the oldest working model in the UK?

P.S. Am waiting for it to "die" so I can buy a nice new much smaller model!!
