Inadvertently deleted emails in Thunderbird.

I have inadvertently deleted all my latest emails by clearing out the archives folder, without realising this also deleted the same emails in my Inbox. Is there a way of recovering the deleted emails?

Thanks Northumbria61, I have managed to recover most of my deleted emails using your suggested method.
