eedcam mentioned in an old thread of mine that Ashampoo Music3 wasn't the best available, now before I throw three quid at registering it, and I don't find it easy to understand, what programs should I try for chopping out unwanted sections from plays or films on CD or DVD, probably needs two different ones.

I'm not needing to edit tracks of music but rather deleting continuity announcers or adverts before burning the cleaned up version to disc.
