Hi guys, using win7 64bit, sp1, just had to buy a new monitor, chose an LG model, everything fine, monitor automatically set its self up, ie resolution, etc., and its working fine, my query is, as it's the 1st time I have bought a separate monitor, do I need to use the installation disc supplied? thanks

No, as long as it is working fine, many new monitors are Plug-n-Go anyway.

there may be other software on the disc other than just driver for monitor. plus it may give extra setting for the monitor adjustment, like colour etc
